Today we thought that it would be fun to take the kids and hit the ice for a little fishing. Ky has been on me all winter to take him ice fishing soooo today was the day. It was fun...windy, but fun. Although we got SKUNKED, I have truly decided that I hate Scofield Reservoir, and will never fish there again....EVER!
Tami and Brynn only stayed out on the ice for a few minutes due to the wind and bright sun, but Ky, Kash and I stayed out and waited and waited for a fish to bite, Ky had two hits and I had one but that was it. the boys pulled each other around on the ice in a sled and chucked snow balls at me. we did have fun and at least I didn't have to clean fish.
On Saturday Ky had a hockey game, and had a hat trick +1... That's 4 goals people...4 GOALS! he had so much fun. Its so fun to see his competitive side come out, and as he says he's gettin' "wicked fast".
Well tah tah for now ill try not to go another two months between posts again.
